December 11, 2007, Sudbury , MA – Jones and Bartlett Publishers (J&B) has announced new publishing partnership with the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) to develop cutting-edge educational resources and training programs for fire service instructors.

Together, J&B and ISFSI will develop Fire Service Instructor: Principles and Practice, a comprehensive training program featuring dynamic student resources and robust instructor materials, all based on the 2007 Edition of NFPA 1041, Standard for Instructor Professional Qualifications. The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) will also contribute in the development of this program.
